After completing an internship at a local skilled nursing facility, Courtney found her life’s career calling. From there, she completed her Bachelor of Science in health services administration and was appointed an early leader through an Administrator in Training role where she learned the operations from the ground up, rotating through all departments to learn the industry including success measures and operations of all position within a skilled nursing facility. After successfully completing the AIT role, she served as an Assistant Administrator while earning her license to become a facility Administrator. Courtney has dedicated over fifteen years to serving her community’s most vulnerable residents. After her initial ten years working in North Carolina, she decided to move closer to home and family, accepting the Administrator position at Mountain View in fall of 2020 where she
leads the diverse, compassionate team at Mountain View and is very engaged in the local community.

After starting her career in the nursing home industry as a Certified Nursing Assistant in 2010, Heather started at Mountain View Nursing and Rehabilitation in 2011. Although she loved her tenure as a CNA she knew she wanted to do more and was accepted into Lincoln Memorial University’s Nursing Program and graduated in 2018 earning an Associate’s degree in nursing. Working as a floor nurse for only one year, she was promoted to Floor Unit Manager. From there, she was elevated to Assistant Director of Nursing and eventually was appointed the Director of Nursing for Mountain View summer of 2021.
